Three Advantage Associates Honored with Sunstar 2007 Broker of the Year Award

IRVINE, Calif. — John Dillinger, Mary Forciea, and Cathy Walker were named Sunstar Americas, Inc.’s 2007 Broker of the Year for their respective markets. The awards are determined by Sunstar’s assessment of business success for each of their markets. Sunstar Americas, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells oral care products including toothbrushes, interdental cleaners, and other preventative aids.

John Dillinger, Business Development Manager, reports to ASM’s Harrisburg, Pa. office and received Sunstar’s East Region Broker of the Year honor. John was recognized by Sunstar for his proactive commitment to grow our client’s business at Weis Supermarkets. Under John’s leadership, Sunstar Americas, Inc. was able to increase their number of SKUs and increase their market share at this particular customer.

Mary Forciea, Customer Development Manager, received Sunstar’s Broker of the Year award for the South region. Mary works out of our Milwaukee, Wis. office and was honored for increasing Sunstar’s overall sales by over 60 percent at Roundy’s Supermarkets, Certco, Inc. wholesaler, and Fresh Brands, Inc. Sunstar was also able to add 30 new SKUs at these customers as a result of Mary’s extraordinary efforts.

Cathy Walker, Business Development Manager, was instrumental in Sunstar’s success in the West and received their Broker of the Year award for her region. Cathy works out of ASM’s Pleasanton, Calif. office and is credited with obtaining distribution of Sunstar’s manual toothbrush in her territory where it had previously been discontinued due to competition. Her perseverance and attention to detail drove Sunstar sales above and beyond their set objectives for her territory.
