Advantage Sales and Marketing announces acquisition of FreshSpace


New acquisition will enrich Advantage Sales and Marketing's best-in-class sales and marketing service portfolio by providing innovative brand promotional services.

Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (ASM) today announced the acquisition of BoxTop Media, LLC dba FreshSpace.  FreshSpace is an innovative ad company delivering media impressions and promotions by leveraging packaging space on perishable products.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"FreshSpace has developed an innovative platform for driving sales, building brand awareness and fostering brand engagement," said Tanya Domier, ASM chief executive officer. "This acquisition expands our portfolio of service offerings benefitting both CPG companies and retailers."

Chris Barkley and Geoff Jackson who previously served as president and president sales & marketing, respectively, will lead the new business unit which will operate as "FreshSpace."

FreshSpace operates offices in New York and Chicago. The division will continue to be based in New York.
